Welcome to Paint My Life. My name is Denise De Marco and I am the artist and business owner of Paint My Life. I am a third year Communication Studies student at York University. Prior to attending university, I received a Fashion Arts diploma from Humber College.

Aside from being a dedicated full time student, I am a passionate artist and entrepreneur. I've created paintings for numerous clients, using a variety of mediums such as acrylics, three dimensional paint and newspapers. Through mixing of colours I am able to create multiple, vibrant and unique colours. My art work is inspired by my personal life experiences, the beauty and colours of the world, and famous words by writers, artists, philosophers, musicians, and political activists.

After much anticipation and encouragement from friends and family, I decided to finally venture out and begin my own business. Paint My Life is an innovated business that focus’ on commission pieces and my new passion – painted gift bags. My painted gift bags are hand painted and perfect for holidays, birthdays and special events. What's so great about my painted gift bags you may ask? Well, they can easily be cut and framed- an inexpensive way to have what you love hanging on your wall or given as a present to a special friend.

I want to paint whatever it is that you are passionate about. Be it your best friend, your favourite celebrity, flower, or landmark, I promise to paint what you desire. Personalization is my main goal.

After graduation, I would like to enroll in the illustration program at Seneca College. I aspire to one day be the illustrator and writer of my own children’s book.
